Marylou is a French musician, electronic and hacker artist based in Paris. She used to live in Eindhoven between 2017 and 2021, thus this city is still one of her heart home.
As a sound artist, she uses technology as a main intermediary in the service of the study of biodiversity : her work aims at highlighting the similarities between the extinct ecosystems and electronic interfaces, by making it possible to artificially reconstruct nature's sensitive networks.
As a singer and guitarist, she shares her compositions on stage influenced by the romantic atmospheres of french songs and english poetry she admires (Pomme, Barbara, Anne Sylvestre and Rupi Kaur are her main influences). With atypical tools, she nourishes her stage’s soundscape with her own-made synthesizer, the Big Bird Boxe, which triggers bird songs, tranforms her singing into nightingale voices, and many other magic.
